Job summary

HERMES TESTING SOLUTIONS SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking motivated Field Service Engineers, Assistant Engineers or Technicians for a 2-year contract based in Singapore.

You will work with semiconductor and testing equipment, focusing on installation, commissioning, and on-site troubleshooting to support customers. Successful candidates may be assigned to Engineer, Assistant Engineer, or Technician roles depending on qualifications, with opportunities for overseas short-term assignments to service

Qualifications

• ITE/ Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Proficient English and Mandarin communication with clients.
• Experience in semiconductor equipment servicing is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Installation & Commissioning: Perform installation, setup, commissioning, and testing of semiconductor and testing equipment.
• Preventive Maintenance: Carry out routine PM to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
• Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve on-site technical issues to minimize downtime for customers.
• Overseas Support: Be available for short-term overseas assignments when required.

We are looking for motivated and hands-on individuals to join our technical service team. This role offers the opportunity to gain practical experience in the semiconductor and testing equipment industry, covering equipment installation, commissioning, maintenance, and technical troubleshooting.

Successful candidates will be offered a position as Engineer, Assistant Engineer, or Technician based on their qualifications and relevant experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Equipment Installation & Commissioning: Perform installation, setup, commissioning, and testing of semiconductor and testing equipment.

• Preventive Maintenance: Carry out routine preventive maintenance (PM) to ensure equipment reliability and performance.

• Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve on-site technical issues to minimize equipment downtime for customers.

• Overseas Support: Be available for short-term overseas assignments when required.

Requirements

• Education: ITE, Diploma, or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Languages: Intermediate proficiency in English and proficiency in Chineseto communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients.

• Experience: Previous experience in semiconductor equipment servicing or maintenance will be an advantage.
