Job summary

Canon Singapore Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a technical field service professional to service Multi-Function Devices at customer sites. You will own assigned devices, ensure optimum operation, and deliver quality service to delight users.

You will resolve connectivity issues and demonstrate machine features and networking functions during visits. You will also support the team with technical solutions and installations island-wide.

Qualifications

• Diploma in engineering/IT or related field required.
• At least 2 years of relevant technical field operations experience with office equipment.
• Willingness to travel island-wide for customer visits.

Responsibilities

• Provide servicing on customers’ Multi-Function Devices per service manual procedures.
• Own designated devices and keep them in optimum working condition.
• Deliver quality services during visits to delight customers or users.
• Provide resolution to connectivity issues or usage problems in the printing environment.
• Ensure installations and connectivity demonstrations are properly performed for users.
• Assist the team with technical support and solutions.

Job description

• Provide servicing on customers’ Multi-Function Devices in accordance withthe procedures indicated inside the service manual

• Take ownership of designated Multi-Function Devices and to ensure all Multi-Function Devices are in optimum working conditions

• Providing quality services during visits to ensure customers or users are delighted

• To provide resolution to customer when they encountered connectivity issues or unable to utilize the machine in their printing environment

• To undertake the role and responsibilities to ensure all installed machines with connectivity are properly installed and demonstrated to users on the use of the machine’s functions and connectivity matters

• Support team in technical support and solutions

Requirement

At least a diploma or equivalent in engineering, IT, business or a related field is required.

At least 2 years or more of relevant experience in technical field operation in office equipment with intermediate knowledge in networking

Comfortable to travel extensively to customer location island wide

2 year contract renewable basis
