Job summary

Strategy Solutions Services is seeking a service technician to provide technical support and training for home appliances, serving both local and export markets.

The role involves handling warranty, spare parts, and customer inquiries, plus creating service manuals and training materials. A Diploma in Engineering and 2+ years in consumer electronics are required, with MS Office proficiency and schematic-reading ability.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in consumer electronics after-sales management.
• Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams.
• Hands-on experience with fridge, washer and TV is a plus.
• Strong product knowledge in home appliances and AV.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and product training to customers and distributors.
• Handle product, technical, warranty, spare parts enquiries and complaints from end-customers, distributors, dealers and e-commerce platforms.
• Study in-warranty claims and compile an F-Cost report.
• Monitor quality issues and abnormal defects and report to factory; take action with warehouse, distributor and factory.
• Create training materials, technical procedures, service manuals and part guides for distributors.
• Handle defective unit exchanges and follow up on repairs; check and grade at contractor before return to warehouse.
• Assist with COC renewal, COC and WELS testing and registration for new products.
• Assist distributors in conducting field tests for new products.
• Support the establishment of service management and service centre for local and export markets.

• Study in-warranty claims, compiling of F-Cost report.
• Monitor quality issue and abnormal defect to make report to factory, take necessary action against warehouse, distributor and factory.
• Create training materials, technical procedures, service manuals and part guides for distributors.
