Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Service Technician to install, service, troubleshoot and repair home appliances at customer sites in Singapore. You will diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and provide professional service while keeping customers informed.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of relevant experience, basic electrical knowledge, and the ability to read wiring diagrams. Willingness to travel and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Nitec or Higher Nitec or a Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant service or repair experience.
• Experience servicing home appliances or consumer electronics is preferred.
• Good troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, electronic and mechanical systems.
• Able to read basic wiring diagrams and use a multimeter.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work independently and manage service calls responsibly.
• Willing to travel to customer sites across Singapore.
• Class 3 driving licence is an advantage.
• Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Install, test and service home appliances at customer sites.

• Identify the cause of product issues and recommend suitable solutions.
• Attend to customer service and warranty cases.
• Conduct product checks and testing when required.
• Provide basic technical advice and operating guidance to customers.
• Work with service partners and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
• Record service findings, repair work and parts used accurately.
• Escalate complex or recurring issues to the technical team.
• Follow up on outstanding cases and ensure timely closure.
• Maintain proper care of tools, equipment and spare parts.
• Support product testing and other technical work when required.
