Job summary

TEHC Leisure Pte. Ltd. operates a Cafe & Bar in Singapore, seeking a Service Crew & Bartender to deliver warm customer service while supporting bar operations.

You will take orders, handle transactions, prepare beverages, maintain cleanliness and stock, and assist with events when required. WSQ FSC Level 1 certification is mandatory, and prior F&B experience is preferred to handle busy service periods.

Qualifications

• WSQ FSC Level 1 certification is required for food and beverage handling.

Job description

THE ROLE

As a Service Crew & Bartender, you will take on a wider role across both customer service and bar operations at our Cafe & Bar. You will serve customers, take orders and handle transactions while also preparing beverages and supporting the daily operation of the bar. You will help maintain beverage quality, cleanliness, stock levels and responsible service practices. The role may also support buffet services, corporate events and larger group functions when required.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Service

• Welcome and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately.
• Provide basic information about menu items and beverages.
• Serve food and beverages according to service standards.
• Attend to customer requests and refer issues or complaints to the appropriate supervisor.

Bar & Beverage Operations

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Prepare simple drinks, coffee and other beverages as required.
• Maintain the bar area, equipment and work surfaces in a clean and organised condition.
• Ensure glasses, garnishes, ice and other bar supplies are properly prepared and available for service.
• Follow responsible alcohol service practices and outlet procedures.
• Monitor beverage stock and inform the Supervisor or Operations Manager of shortages or replenishment needs.

Orders & Transactions

• Process food and beverage orders through the required ordering or POS system.
• Handle payments and transactions accurately when assigned.
• Check orders before serving to ensure accuracy.
• Follow cash handling and transaction procedures.

WHAT WE'R LOOKING FOR

• Previous F&B, bartending, hospitality or similar experience.
• WSQ Food Safety Course (FSC) Level 1 certification is required
• for food and beverage handling duties.
• Familiar with basic bar hygiene, cleanliness and safe handling of equipment and beverages.
• Experience preparing coffee, non-alcoholic drinks, cocktails or other beverages is an advantage.
• Responsible when handling orders, payments, stock and alcoholic beverages.
• Friendly, confident and comfortable interacting with customers.
• Responsible, hands-on and able to work independently while supporting the team.
• Able to remain organised during busy service periods and events.
• Willing to work rostered shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
