Responsibilities

• Operate and support the payment platform at a Unix/Linux level with automation.
• Set up high availability: clustering, failover, redundancy.
• Configure load balancing across nodes and validate behavior under failure.
• Install, configure and commission servers and middleware hosting payment apps.
• Maintain platform during incidents: isolate issues, fail over, restore service, identify root cause.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and deploy/ orchestrate containers with Docker.
• Maintain and tune web servers (Apache, NGINX).
• Streamline deployments with CI/CD pipelines (XLDeploy, Nexus).
• Ensure monitoring with Splunk or Dynatrace.
• Analyze and resolve Tier-3 payment incidents.
• Propose and implement resilience and automation improvements (SRE).
