Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a capable L2/L3 Production Support Engineer to join our Software Engineering Group in Singapore. You will play a key role in supporting and maintaining production applications, performing incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to ensure system stability and availability.

Ideal candidates have strong Unix/Linux and SQL skills, experience with Grafana/ELK, and familiarity with MQ/Kafka.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of experience in Application Support or production support.
• Strong Unix/Linux operating system skills.
• Excellent SQL abilities for data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Proven capability in incident and problem management with RCA.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Grafana, ELK).
• Familiarity with MQ or Kafka messaging technologies.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and release support is a plus.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 application support for production systems and ensure availability.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application, system, and data issues.
• Handle incident and problem management including RCA and remediation.
• Execute SQL queries for data analysis and investigative work.
• Use Unix/Linux environments for monitoring, diagnostics, and automation.
• Monitor health with Grafana, ELK, MQ/Kafka, and related tools.
• Collaborate with development, infra, and business teams for timely resolution.
• Support deployment activities, release validation, and production readiness.
• Contribute to process improvements and documentation.
• Participate in on-call or production support rotations.
