United Overseas Bank Limited in Singapore seeks an experienced Assistant VP, L2 Production Support to lead incident management and production stability. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, review changes on container platforms, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.

The role requires a strong ITIL background, 6+ years in banking IT production support, and hands-on experience with AIX, IBM MQ, Java, and OpenShift. A Bachelor’s degree in computer science is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• At least six years of relevant application production support experience, including a minimum of four years in banking IT support.
• Essential: ITIL service management and incident handling experience.
• Experience with internet banking and mobile banking applications is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage production application incidents from initial assessment through service restoration and closure.
• Receive, analyse and prioritise tickets and service requests; coordinate with teams for resolution.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues via logs, DB queries, scripts and integration flows; coordinate with dev/infrastructure/vendor teams.
• Investigate recurring problems; document findings and coordinate preventive actions.
• Provide timely stakeholder updates on incidents, outages, and recovery progress.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, vendors and partners across the support lifecycle.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare reports on incident trends and metrics for improvement opportunities.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior team members; support after-hours on-call rotation.
• Review changes to applications on OpenShift focusing on production stability.
