Job summary

Allianz Trade in Singapore is seeking a Business Development Manager with a strong hunter focus to drive new business targets through our distribution channels and build a profitable, sustainable trade credit insurance portfolio.

Responsibilities include leading end-to-end sales, generating leads, and developing relationships with brokers, banks, and fronting insurers. You will manage CRM data to maintain a healthy pipeline and contribute to growth and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• This role requires 2-5 years in financial services B2B sales with consultative selling.
• Senior level candidates will be considered for higher responsibilities with more experience.
• Ability to build extensive networks with prospects, market players and opinion leaders.
• Proven sales and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Identify business opportunities to develop a profitable portfolio in line with the distribution strategy.
• Lead end-to-end sales process through direct channels and intermediaries.
• Generate and qualify leads, convert into opportunities and close deals.
• Build and maintain relationships with fronting insurers, brokers, insurers and banks.
• Deliver sales activities and new business targets.
• Plan marketing initiatives and develop growth strategies focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate client debriefs, provide training/workshops with brokers, and ensure CRM data hygiene.
• Record and maintain sales activity data in CRM; handle ad hoc manager tasks.
