Job summary

Maybank Singapore is seeking a Trade Banking professional to drive growth by collaborating with SME segments to acquire new-to-bank trade customers and bolster trade utilization. You will advise on all trade finance matters and work with BDM/RMs to expand wallets and cross-sell to areas such as FX.

You will develop mid- and long-term strategies to grow trade outstanding, collaborate with SME+ and RSME on joint KPIs, and help proliferate trade product knowledge across the unit.

Qualifications

• Degree in Banking, Business, Finance and related fields.
• Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in the SME Banking and related field.

Responsibilities

• Acquisition of new to bank trade customers.
• Joint visits with BDMs/RMs to cross sell trade.
• Assist in servicing of newly onboarded trade customers through processing of adhoc trade finance requests.
• Drive Trade utilisation for newly onboarded trade customers.
• Regular joint visits with RM/BDM to build relationship.
• Proliferates competencies in trade product within CBD.
• Encourage utilization for newly on-boarded trade customers
• Regular customer visits for relationship building.
