Qualifications

Overview

Summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

• Lead the development of Sustainability Report.
• Collect, monitor and analyze environmental data collected from the internal stakeholders.
• Support in setting and reviewing of environmental targets for the company.
• Conduct internal Green and Gracious Builder Scheme (GGBS) audits periodically.
• Ensure that the organization is in line with the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System objectives and targets.
• Support in ensuring that the ISO 50001 Energy Management System (EnMS) is established, maintained and continually improved.
• Create, implement and communicate environmental and sustainability programs effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor and measure progress of environmental and sustainability programs against objectives, targets, as well as compliance to legal requirements and report the findings.
• Analyze and assess existing programs and processes for potential inefficiencies, define and implement the appropriate economical solutions and ensure continuous improvement.
• Research and recommend solutions to reduce materials, water and energy consumption at site as well as reduction of all forms of pollution.
• Research and recommend methods for the usage of recycled and sustainable materials at site in order to be more environmentally friendly.
• Adherence to safety practices in the workplace.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Engineering or Sustainability from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 5 years management experience in the environmental or sustainability related industry.
• Green Mark Accredited Professional
• ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems
