Job summary

The Senior Solutions Engineer in NetApp's Sales Function works with client executives to align NetApp's technical strategy with the customer's long-term goals, addressing business and IT challenges with differentiated storage solutions.

You will provide pre-sales technical support, design tailored on-premise or hybrid storage solutions (NAS, SAN, Object Storage), build PoCs, and perform ROI/TCO analyses to articulate NetApp's competitive advantages across the storage ecosystem.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in storage product specifications and services.
Prior roles in Solutions Engineer, Pre-Sales Architect, or similar.
Cloud, AI/ML, databases, microservices, or DevOps knowledge is a plus.
Operate as SME and influence Sales teams on projects.

Responsibilities

Deliver pre-sales technical support for complex products and solutions.
Assess customer needs and design tailored storage solutions.
Architect on-premise or hybrid storage systems (NAS/SAN/Object Storage).
Build PoCs and rapid prototypes to demonstrate feasibility.
Provide ROI/TCO analyses to articulate competitive advantages of NetApp storage solutions.
Collaborate with client executives and partner sales teams to drive opportunities.
