Job summary

NetApp Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to provide pre-sales technical support for complex storage solutions. You will leverage deep product knowledge to deliver tailored storage designs and compelling demonstrations to customers and partners.

You will collaborate with sales to understand customer needs, architect on-premise or hybrid storage environments, and build PoCs to showcase feasibility.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre-sales engineering for storage solutions.
• Familiarity with NAS, SAN and object storage concepts is a plus.
• Ability to articulate technical value through demonstrations and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales technical support via sales presentations and product demos.
• Collaborate with sales to assess customer needs and design tailored storage solutions.
• Design on-premise or hybrid storage systems (NAS, SAN, Object Storage) for various environments.
• Build proof-of-concept apps and rapid prototypes to prove feasibility.
• Offer ROI/TCO analyses to communicate competitive advantages of NetApp storage solutions.
• Contribute deep expertise across the storage and data management ecosystem, including backups.
• Work with client executives and partner teams to drive opportunities and resource alignment.

Job description

As a Senior Solutions Engineer in NetApp's Sales Function, you will primarily provide pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex products/applications/solutions. You will utilise your technical expertise and our cutting-edge data storage portfolio to address customers' technical needs and deliver successful business results,focusing on expanding our presence within existing and new clients together with business partners.

• Leverage in-depth product knowledge to deliver technical expertise through sales presentations and product demonstrations to sales staff and customers
• Collaborate with sales staff to assess customer needs, design tailored storage solutions, and prepare detailed product specifications for implementation
• Design and architect on-premise or hybrid storage systems with strong knowledge ofNAS, SAN, and Object Storage, including enterprise andCloud Servicesenvironments
• Build proof-of-concept applications and rapid prototypes to demonstrate solution feasibility to clients
• Provide consultation, product capability assessments, andROI/TCOanalysis to articulate the competitive advantages ofNetApp storage solutions
• Deliver deep expertise across theStorage and Data Management vendor ecosystem, including prior experience withbackup solutions
• Collaborate with client executives and partner sales teams to develop strategies that drive customer opportunities and advise on the utilization of broader technical resources
