Job summary

The Senior Solutions Engineer in NetApp's Sales Function works with client executives to align NetApp's technical strategy with the customer's long-term goals, addressing business and IT challenges with differentiated storage solutions.

You will provide pre-sales technical support, design tailored on-premise or hybrid storage solutions (NAS, SAN, Object Storage), build PoCs, and perform ROI/TCO analyses to articulate NetApp's competitive advantages across the storage ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in storage product specifications and services.
• Prior roles in Solutions Engineer, Pre-Sales Architect, or similar.
• Cloud, AI/ML, databases, microservices, or DevOps knowledge is a plus.
• Operate as SME and influence Sales teams on projects.

Job Summary

The SeniorSolution Engineer (SE) collaborates closely with client executives to align NetApp's technical strategy with the customer's long-term vision and goals. The SE addresses business and IT challenges by providing uniquely differentiated solutions. This role involves engaging with a wide range of customer stakeholders and leveraging the appropriate NetApp team and expertise in solutions, products, ecosystems, and industry knowledge.

Job Requirements

As a Senior Solutions Engineer in NetApp's Sales Function, you will primarily provide pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex products/applications/solutions. You will utilise your technical expertise and our cutting-edge data storage portfolio to address customers' technical needs and deliver successful business results,focusing on expanding our presence within existing and new clients together with business partners.

• Leverage in-depth product knowledge to deliver technical expertise through sales presentations and product demonstrations to sales staff and customers
• Collaborate with sales staff to assess customer needs, design tailored storage solutions, and prepare detailed product specifications for implementation
• Design and architect on-premise or hybrid storage systems with strong knowledge ofNAS, SAN, and Object Storage, including enterprise andCloud Servicesenvironments
• Build proof-of-concept applications and rapid prototypes to demonstrate solution feasibility to clients
• Provide consultation, product capability assessments, andROI/TCOanalysis to articulate the competitive advantages ofNetApp storage solutions
• Deliver deep expertise across theStorage and Data Management vendor ecosystem, including prior experience withbackup solutions
• Collaborate with client executives and partner sales teams to develop strategies that drive customer opportunities and advise on the utilization of broader technical resources

Education

• At least 12Years of experience and expertise in technical specifications on storage product and services
• Prior experience of working in capacity of Solutions Engineer, Pre Sales Architect,Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecton storage technologies
• (Preferred) Specialised knowledge in Cloud, Storage, AI/ML, Database, Microservice, Enterprise Application or DevOps is advantageous
• Operate as Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) and has the ability to influence Sales team, driving initiatives and act as a Decision-maker on Projects
