YOUR IMPACT
- This pivotal role drives growth and market leadership across Southeast Asian markets (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines) for Benefit local market, aligning to the corporate strategic growth direction.
- You will be responsible for defining and executing sales strategies, optimizing retail performance, cultivating robust relationships with key stakeholders, and leading high‑performing sales teams.
- Your mission is to achieve and exceed ambitious sales targets, enhance brand presence, and ensure a cohesive approach across all channels – B& M and online.
Job responsibilities
Sales & Business Development Strategy & Execution
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement short, medium, and long‑term sales strategies to achieve retail sales objectives, market share growth, and profitability across assigned markets.
- P&L Ownership: Lead and manage the sales organization to meet or exceed net and retail sales targets.
- Market Penetration: Drive sales performance for assigned markets.
- Business Planning: Build and challenge business plans with key partners, define commercial priorities, and guide relevant stakeholders.
- Launch & Animation Support: Ensure successful sell‑through of priority categories and strong execution of new launches and animations.
- Market Knowledge: Provide qualitative market feedback and reporting to GM, Marketing, and Commercial teams.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Training, Marketing, CRM, VM, HR, and Finance to ensure alignment on all commercial operations and launches.
Retail Operations & Performance Management
- Retail Target Setting: Set monthly retail sales targets and incentive programs with Retail Managers. Define and monitor KPIs for each store.
- Retail Execution: Plan, implement, and optimize sales activities to meet or exceed targets.
- Inventory & Stock Management: Monitor stock levels, forecasts, and sell‑in/sell‑out budgets. Oversee inventory at counter and agent levels.
- Service & Client Experience: Oversee service execution, productivity, and client experience. Ensure satisfactory Google and mystery shopper reviews.
- Retail Standards & Compliance: Ensure compliance with brand procedures and POS guidelines.
- Digital Tools & Systems: Monitor and support the execution of retail digital tools for operational efficiency.
- Retail Initiatives: Define and roll out strategies and action plans to improve business performance.
- Pricing Management: Monitor regional pricing and validate positioning with the Marketing team.
- Expansion & Renovations: Manage store opening and renovation projects.
- Reporting & Analysis: Track retail KPIs, BC productivity, and provide weekly/monthly reports on sell‑in, sell‑out, retail performance, rankings, and KPIs by door and staff.
Team Leadership, Development & Engagement
- Team Management: Lead the commercial/retail team. Collaborate with Marketing to drive the Ecommerce Manager.
- Recruitment, Training & Talent Development: Especially Boutique/Counter Managers. Identify and develop specialized BC/BX talent and strengthen middle management capabilities.
- Performance Coaching: Drive retail performance through field coaching (selling techniques, makeup application) and implement Retail Excellence programs.
- Motivation & Incentives: Motivate BCs to reach sales targets and deliver excellent service. Develop tactical sales incentives and support agents in motivating BCs through KPI‑driven challenges.
- Performance Management: Conduct annual appraisals, monitor ongoing performance, and ensure training/development plans. Implement recognition and engagement programs for high performers.
Reporting & Financial Control
- Regular Reporting: Prepare monthly retail performance activity reports.
- Budget Management: Manage sell‑in/sell‑out budgets, track actual vs. budget, and act accordingly.
- Cost Control: Approve new hires, salary hours, and top hours. Develop quarterly salary investment models.
- Risk Management: Identify risks to sales targets and develop mitigation strategies and tools.
- Budget Presentations: Lead yearly budget meetings and regional strategic plan presentations.
Profile
WHO YOU ARE
Experience: Proven experience in Sales/Retail within luxury beauty, retail, or service‑related industries. Solid retail operations experience is essential, having ideally managed a retail team of 50 or more.
Language: Fluent in English.
