Job summary

sggovterp in Singapore is seeking a Senior/Assistant Project Engineer, Rail (Power Supply System) to join the project team. You will inspect and supervise construction activities to ensure safety, progress, and quality meet contract and regulatory requirements.

You will monitor contractor site progress and ensure timely delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of the system, and participate in meetings with project teams, contractors and stakeholders on site issues.

Qualifications

Knowledge in Electrical / Power Engineering.
Engineering experience and fundamentals of Power Supply System and power electronics.
Good written and interpersonal communication skills.
Able to perform shift work including weekends.
Senior positions considered for candidates with strong relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Inspect and supervise construction activities to ensure safety, progress and quality meet contract and regulatory requirements.
Monitor contractor site progress and ensure timely delivery, installation, testing and commissioning.
Attend meetings and liaise with project teams, contractors and stakeholders on site issues.
Involve in statutory inspections conducted by external parties.
Support the project team to maintain records, including drafting daily and weekly reports.
