Job summary

sggovterp is hiring a Senior/Assistant Project Engineer in the Rail Services group in Singapore. You will supervise rail construction within the Rail Group (Electrical and Mechanical), review contractor submissions, monitor on-site activities, and ensure on-time completion across multiple systems including Building Services, Environment Control, Electrical Services and Fire Protection.

Knowledge in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
Strong project management skills
Good communication, written and interpersonal skills
Able to perform shift and overtime work including weekends
Candidates with strong relevant years of experience will be considered for senior positions

Responsibilities

Supervise the construction of rail transit projects as part of the Rail Group (Electrical and Mechanical).
Assist the Engineer to review contractor materials submissions, test procedures, method statements and shop drawings.
Monitor progress of contractor site activities to ensure timely completion of work.
Work on Building Services, Environment Control System, Electrical Services and Fire Protection systems as assigned.
Indicate preference for which systems you will work on and participate in shortlisting processes as required.
