Job summary

sggovterp is seeking a Senior / Executive / Project Engineer for Rail Communications to lead and coordinate the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of rail communications systems across MRT facilities and projects. You will manage contractors, oversee safety, quality and environmental aspects, and coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders.

The role requires strong project management, leadership, and communication skills, with willingness to perform occasional night

Qualifications

Knowledge in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
Relevant experience in large-scale infrastructure projects will be considered for senior position.
Good appreciation of the constraints and interface requirements of civil, trackwork, electrical and mechanical works.

Responsibilities

Lead role in managing contractors to design, supply, install, test and commission rail communications systems (fibre-optic, digital trunked radio, PA and telephony, CCTV, access management, and travel information).
Assist in safety, quality, progress and environmental impact of contractors’ works; plan and manage risks and cash flows; issue instructions and assess variations/payments/claims.
Liaise with project teams, contractors, designers, architects, stakeholders and Railway Operator to coordinate projects; prepare tender specs, participate in tender evaluation and award.
