Job summary

sggovterp in Singapore invites an experienced Senior/Executive Project Engineer to lead power supply works for transit projects. You will manage contractors, ensure safety, quality and progress, and work with project teams, designers and the Railway Operator to keep power delivery coordinated.

You should have knowledge in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, large infrastructure experience, strong PM and leadership, and willingness to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Good appreciation of interfaces among civil, electrical and mechanical works.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Team player who is analytical, resourceful and result-oriented.
• Willing to perform night work including weekends and public holidays.
• Those without experience are welcome to apply.
• Medical declaration and/or assessments may be required during shortlisting.

Responsibilities

• Lead power supply contractors to ensure safety, quality and progress of works.
• Assist Senior Project Manager in planning and managing cashflows and issuing instructions; assess variations/payments/claims.
• Liaise with project teams, contractors, designers and architects to ensure coordinated power supply to transit systems.
• Liaise with the Railway Operator to review and address feedback appropriately.
