Perform independent general radiography and DEXA scans. Given the low patient volume, the focus is on achieving the highest possible image quality.
Execute specialised scan protocols for body composition and metabolic health, ensuring precise data for longitudinal tracking of muscle mass and bone health.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Act as the radiological subject matter expert. You will regularly consult with the medical team to discuss imaging indications and review technical aspects of scans for screening and primary care investigations.
Maintain strict adherence to National Environment Agency (NEA) regulations, managing the R1/L5 license requirements and ensuring ALARA principles are upheld.
Oversee regular calibration and Quality Assurance (QA) testing to ensure the validity of quantitative data (particularly for DEXA).
