Job summary
A construction firm in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with extensive experience in pre and post contract administration. You will prepare tender submissions, manage junior team members, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations. A degree or diploma in Building or its equivalent is required, along with at least 8 years of experience with a main contractor. This role offers competitive compensation and a 5.5-day work week.
Qualifications

- Able to work independently.
- Understanding of building contract law and contractual obligations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare tender cost submission / pricing / quantity take off.
- Manage and mentor junior team members.
- Prepare Variation Orders, claims and final accounts.

Responsibilities
- Experience in pre & post contract administration
- Prepare tender cost submission / pricing / quantity take off / cost evaluation
- Obtaining quotations, liaising and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers
- Responsible for measuring quantities and taking off
- Prepare Variation Orders, claims and final accounts
- Prepare sub contracts and sub-contractor payments
- Competent in completing required obligations within stipulated timings and other constraints.
- Manage and mentor junior team members
- All other QS related job
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Building or its equivalent
- Able to work independent
- Understanding of building contract law and contractual obligations
- Skill to use software such as bluebeam and cubicost.
- At least 8 years of working experience with main contractor
- High level of integrity, responsibility, good team player and helpful
- Salary package commensurate with experience.
- 5.5 days work per week (alternate Saturday off)
