Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Purchasing Executive to manage strategic procurement activities, optimize supply chain efficiency, and ensure cost-effective sourcing of materials and services. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, supplier management experience, and expertise in industrial procurement.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Procurement & Sourcing
    • Develop and implement cost‑saving procurement strategies for direct/indirect materials (raw materials, MRO, packaging, etc.)
    • Conduct supplier evaluation, selection, and contract negotiation to ensure best pricing, quality, and delivery terms
    • Manage RFQ/RFP processes and analyze supplier proposals
  2. Supplier Relationship Management
    • Maintain and strengthen relationships with key suppliers and vendors
    • Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, pricing) and implement improvement plans
    • Resolve supply issues and mitigate risks in the supply chain
  3. Cost Control & Inventory Management
    • Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost reduction opportunities
    • Collaborate with planning/production teams to optimize inventory levels and prevent shortages
    • Implement VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) or JIT (Just-in-Time) systems where applicable
  4. Process Improvement & Compliance
    • Streamline purchasing processes using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and ISO procurement standards
    • Prepare regular reports on purchasing KPIs (cost savings, supplier performance, etc.)
Qualifications & Experience
  • Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of purchasing experience, preferably in manufacturing/industrial sectors
  • Proven track record in: cost negotiation and contract management, supplier development and performance evaluation, ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP MM, Oracle Procurement)
  • Strong knowledge of: international procurement (INCOTERMS, LC, etc.), inventory management principles
  • Certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPs) are a plus
