Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of telecom service delivery projects. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in structured communication, stakeholder alignment, and process-driven delivery across MVNE/MVNO programs or telecom infrastructure rollouts. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage multiple workstreams, drive operational excellence, and ensure client satisfaction across global engagements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project & Program Management
- Lead telecom rollout or upgrade projects with detailed planning, execution, and delivery oversight.
- Manage scope, resources, budget, and schedules to meet SLAs and client expectations.
- Track project progress, risks, and corrective actions using structured reporting tools.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 27001).
2. Client Engagement & Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Prepare and present dashboards, reports, and meeting minutes.
- Conduct regular review meetings and manage escalations effectively.
- Foster long-term client relationships through proactive engagement and support.
3. Process Optimization & Documentation
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including charters, schedules, risk registers, and change logs.
- Drive continuous improvement through standardized templates and reporting.
- Support audits and ensure proper project closure documentation.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with engineering, RF, civil, operations, procurement, and finance teams.
- Support field teams with planning tools, trackers, and communication frameworks.
- Align delivery with business goals and regulatory requirements.
5. Performance Monitoring & Governance
- Monitor KPIs (time, cost, quality, customer satisfaction).
- Present project health reports to leadership and recommend improvements.
- Implement proactive risk mitigation strategies.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in project management, with at least 8 years in telecom service delivery.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar telecom projects across multiple geographies.
- Experience in MVNE/MVNO onboarding, telecom infrastructure rollout, and client engagement at a strategic level.
- Deep understanding of telecom network rollout (fiber, RF, transmission, MVNE/MVNO platforms).
- Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, and collaboration tools.
- Experience with service delivery platforms and telecom infrastructure (e.g., OSS/BSS, HLR/HSS, PCRF, OCS).
- Must have either PMP or PgMP certification.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
