Job summary

RRecruiter in Singapore is seeking a Project Planner to support project planning and control by coordinating schedules, monitoring progress, managing risks and preparing reports to keep operations on track.

Responsibilities include preparing preliminary master schedules for tender submissions; developing and maintaining integrated schedules; establishing baselines; coordinating materials; monitoring drawings release; tracking progress; developing recovery schedules; setting up cost-tracking

Qualifications

• Experience with project planning, scheduling, costing and risk management.
• Experience in production operations, shipyard or marine environments.
• Willing to move into project planning and coordinate with stakeholders.

• Track project progress against the baseline, identify risks and update the Project Manager on issues and potential delays.
• Develop recovery schedules and recommend corrective actions to address delays.
• Set up project cost-tracking references and prepare progress and man-hour reports.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of project planning, scheduling, costing, risk management and manpower coordination.
• Experience in production operations, shipyard or marine-related environments is relevant.
• Candidates from production operations who wish to move into project planning are welcome to apply.
• Able to coordinate with stakeholders at different levels, resolve issues and follow through on project deliverables.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6 is an advantage but not essential.
