KELINGTON ENGINEERING (S) PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Scheduler / Planning Engineer to support planning, scheduling and progress monitoring of engineering projects.

The successful candidate will develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, identify delays and support the project team in achieving milestones. The role emphasizes expertise in Primavera P6, with preference for semiconductor fabrication projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Project Management.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in project planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, critical path analysis and progress monitoring.
• Experience in engineering, construction, MEP or EPC environments.
• Experience in cleanroom and high-tech manufacturing projects is a plus.
• Strong analytical, coordination and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
• Willingness to travel overseas, including India and other countries.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Prepare baseline, look-ahead and periodic schedule updates.
• Monitor progress against baseline and identify schedule variances.
• Track critical path, milestones and deliverables.
• Coordinate with PMs, engineers, construction teams and subcontractors.
• Analyze schedule performance and flag delays and risks.
• Prepare recovery schedules and mitigation plans for delays.
• Review subcontractor schedules for alignment.
• Prepare weekly and monthly planning and progress reports.
• Participate in planning meetings and provide schedule updates.
• Maintain records of revisions, progress and changes.
• Support schedule impact analysis and project planning activities.
• Perform other related planning duties as assigned.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Scheduler / Planning Engineer to support the planning, scheduling and progress monitoring of our engineering projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring project progress, identifying potential delays and supporting the project team in achieving project milestones.

Candidates with experience in semiconductor fabrication projects will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Prepare project baseline schedules, look-ahead schedules and periodic schedule updates.
• Monitor actual progress against the approved baseline and identify schedule variances.
• Track critical path activities, key milestones and project deliverables.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Construction teams, subcontractors and other stakeholders to obtain accurate progress updates.
• Analyse schedule performance and highlight potential delays, risks and areas requiring attention.
• Prepare recovery schedules and support the project team in developing mitigation plans for schedule delays.
• Review subcontractor schedules and ensure alignment with the overall project schedule.
• Prepare weekly and monthly planning and progress reports.
• Participate in project planning and coordination meetings and provide schedule updates.
• Maintain proper records of schedule revisions, progress and changes.
• Support project management in schedule impact analysis and project planning activities.
• Perform other related planning and scheduling duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in project planning and scheduling.
• Must be well-versed in Primavera P6.
• Good knowledge of project planning, scheduling, critical path analysis and progress monitoring.
• Experience in engineering, construction, MEP, EPC or similar project environments.
• Experience in cleanroom, process utility, mechanical, electrical or high-tech manufacturing projects will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, coordination and communication skills.
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project reporting tools.
• Able to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
• Willingness to travel or work overseas, including India and other countries, will be an added advantage.
