Chong Lee Leong Seng Co Ltd in Singapore seeks a seasoned project manager to plan, coordinate and supervise purchases, production and site activities for marine projects. You will lead technical and commercial efforts to meet safety, delivery, cost and quality objectives.
Responsibilities include leading installation from drawings, coordinating with customers, shipyards, suppliers and contractors, managing risks and tender submissions, and developing strong client relationships for spare parts
Responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising of purchases, production and site management. Manage development and design projects with the goal of delivering products that exceed customers' requirement. To ensure that all objectives of safety, delivery and completion time and profitability are met for projects and equipment.
Responsible for project administration, co-ordination and overall leadership for all marine projects, production, site management & subcontractors on all aspects of installation activities and preparation of drawings and installation details
Identify and resolve project issues and conflicts
Liaise and conduct technical meetings with customers, owners, contractors and internal service team
Liaise with principals, suppliers, shipyards, customers and classification societies on project matters
Ensure compliance with contractual specifications, class requirements, quality standards and safety regulations
Identify and manage project risks, variations and technical issues to minimize delays and cost impact
Plan, monitor and control project schedules, costs and resources to achieve project objectives
Study and make recommendations on technical drawings prepared by consultants and ensure drawing and manual preparation and drawing amendment are scheduled on time
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, principals and shipyards, while identifying and pursuing opportunities for spare parts, service, upgrades and new equipment sales
Prepare and support technical and commercial proposals, quotations and tender submissions to secure business opportunities
Min Diploma in Marine Engineering
Min 3 years of project management & relevant experience in similar industry
