Job summary

PM Asia Project Services PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Project Planner/Scheduler to develop, coordinate and manage schedules across the full project life cycle, interfacing with engineering, design, construction management and commissioning teams.

You will use Primavera P6 and MS Project, maintain schedule controls, identify milestones, run planning workshops and produce schedule performance reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of project planning/scheduling experience on complex capital projects.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Solid understanding of EPC/EPCM/MCQE environments and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate and manage project schedules across full life cycle.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams in engineering, design, construction management and commissioning.
• Establish objectives and ensure timelines are achieved.
• Execute projects using established Quality and Management systems.
• Identify milestones, monitor progress and report variances.
• Conduct planning workshops and develop Critical Path analyses.
• Proficient with Primavera P6 and MS Project; produce schedule status reports.
• Liaise with management and clients for schedule performance updates.
• Provide input to constructability reviews and resource planning.

Job description

The Project Planner/Scheduler will develop, coordinate, integrate and manage project schedules throughout the full project life cycle and work with multi-discipline Engineering, Design, Construction Management and Commissioning & Qualification teams.

Your day-to-day role would involve the following activities:

• Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with the Client
• Establishing project objectives in line with the client and ensure goals & timelines are achieved
• Execution of projects via an established Quality and Management system
• Responsible for development and management of project schedules and project controls tools
• Identification of project milestones, monitor & report on same Lead / Host Interactive
• Planning Workshops Critical Path development & analysis
• Being proficient in MS Project and Primavera Scheduling tools
• Liaise with project management team with regular schedule performance status reports
• Provide valued input to Constructability Reviews
• Establish project schedule resource requirements Develop and Communicate tools for the target completion of project goals
• Provides performance updates / reports views for identification of variances and corrective action

We would like to hear from candidates who have:

• Min 6 years of experience in Project Planning/Scheduling of complex capital projects from design through to construction and commissioning with a successful record in delivery in fast-track environments.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Good understanding of all phases of projects from design through to construction and commissioning and qualification (e.g. EPC, EPCM, EPCMCQ environments)
• Good understanding and knowledge of project controls techniques
• Experience of Critical Path Methods (CPM)
• Schedule Risk Analysis knowledge
• Proficient in the use of Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint Good communication & people skills
• Excellent time management skills
