Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Singapore seeks a Senior Sales Engineer - Power Services to drive service sales growth, expand the installed base, and build strong relationships with utilities, EPCs, contractors, end users, and data center operators.

You will lead customer engagements, negotiate commercial terms, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver competitive service solutions while maintaining Hitachi Energy's safety and integrity values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 6-8 years in sales, business development, service sales, or account management in electrical power/utilities/industrial sectors.
• Proven track record of developing new business opportunities and achieving sales targets.
• Existing network with utilities, EPCs, consultants, contractors, industrial customers, or data center stakeholders in Singapore preferred.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and convert new service sales opportunities across Singapore.
• Expand Hitachi Energy's installed base through maintenance, upgrades, retrofits, repairs, spare parts, and lifecycle management solutions.
• Lead customer engagements, technical discussions, commercial negotiations, and solution presentations.
• Prepare and manage quotations, proposals, tenders, and service agreements with internal stakeholders.
• Work with service operations, technical experts, and regional teams to deliver competitive solutions.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline visibility, and market intelligence.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
