Job summary
Hitachi Energy Singapore is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer – Automation & Communications to drive growth in the Grid Automation business. You will promote and sell Automation and Communication solutions, build long-term relationships, and support customers across the full sales lifecycle.
Working with customers, partners, distributors, and internal teams, you will deliver innovative solutions that meet market needs while expanding Hitachi Energy's Grid Automation portfolio.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in electrical engineering or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of sales experience in electrical utilities or related sectors.
- Experience in Substation Automation and Communication solutions is advantageous.
- Strong sales, customer engagement, and commercial negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Teams, Outlook and SharePoint; fluent English.
Responsibilities
- Promote and sell Automation and Communication solutions across grid projects.
- Develop and execute end-to-end sales plans and strategies.
- Lead customer discussions and contract negotiations with stakeholders.
- Manage full sales cycle including promotions, homologation, and channel development.
- Maintain CRM records and align offerings with market conditions.
