The Sustainability section of the Strategic Planning and Organisational Transformation Division is responsible for the development of strategies to prepare the MOT Family for future mobility challenges and opportunities, particularly in the areas of sustainability, research and development and inter-modal connectivity. The Division also coordinates strategic planning and transformation work across the MOT Family.

You should be a Singapore citizen, preferably with prior work experience in the fields of public policy, research, futures, consulting, or public sector experience in a strategy or policy analysis role or in the transport or infrastructure sector.
Candidates should possess strong critical thinking skills, intellectual curiosity, excellent writing, verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates should be able to work independently, be confident of handling qualitative and quantitative information and analysing their impact on the transport landscape for Singapore.
The Mission of Ministry of Transport is to develop Singapore's land, sea and air transport sectors so as to enhance our economic competitiveness and quality of life in a knowledge-based economy. MOT oversees the development and regulation of the following sectors:
Besides providing an efficient and cost-effective transportation in Singapore, it also strives to make Singapore an international civil aviation and maritime centre for the region. The ministry sets the strategic and policy direction while operations and regulatory works are carried out by the statutory boards under its charge. There are four statutory boards which are established by Acts of Parliament: the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), the Land Transport Authority (LTA), the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) and the Public Transport Council (PTC). The ministry also oversees the operation of the Transport Safety Investigation Bureau (TSIB).
