Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is hiring a freight forwarding coordinator at Harbourfront, Singapore. You will arrange shipments by sea, air or land, obtain necessary customs permits, and coordinate with contractors and overseas offices.

Requires a Diploma in Business Administration or Logistics management and 2–4 years of freight forwarding experience. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm. The package includes AWS and a variable bonus along with excellent welfare and benefits.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business Administration / Logistics management is required.
• 2 - 4 years of working experience in freight forwarding industry.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and coordinate shipments by sea, air or land
• Apply the necessary customs permits
• Liaise with contractors on timely collection and delivery of cargoes in Singapore
• Liaise with respective overseas offices and agents
• Attending to site meetings, surveys & loadouts as and when required
• Acknowledge incoming invoices and raise invoices to customers for payment
• Update and operate the Operations System (BLU)
• Update the tracking and tracing tools when in place for respective project
• Prepare quotations to clients, other office or agents
• Request and negotiate ad-hoc quotations from approved carriers, supplier and sub-contractor to ensure quality service at the best possible rate
• Ensure all clients requests are shared with the Operations Manager or Project Manager
