Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand the requirements for the vision module and translate them into innovative mechanical designs
• Develop detailed 3D models, drawings, and specifications for components and assemblies
• Conduct feasibility studies and performance assessments to optimize the design for manufacturability and cost‑effectiveness
• Perform structural analysis and simulations to ensure the design meets performance and reliability requirements
• Drive design reviews and coordinate with suppliers to procure components and materials
• Support prototype build and testing activities to validate the design and iterate on improvements as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred
• More than 7 years of mechanical design experience in the semiconductor industry or similar field
• Proficiency in CAD software (such as Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) in designing components and assemblies
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to think creatively to overcome challenges
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment with tight deadlines
• Knowledge of optical systems and vision technologies is a plus
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Adaptable to environments where Mandarin is the primary language used for communication with our China‑based team, with access to online and integrated translation tools
