Job summary

Pullman Morrison Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Senior Consultant to run executive search mandates end to end for an international client portfolio, with a focus on Greater China and cross-border searches. You will map markets, assess candidates, and guide clients through offers and integration.

You must have at least 4 years in executive search, fluency in Japanese and Mandarin, and a degree or diploma.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of executive search or agency recruitment experience.
• Experience in fintech, financial services, technology, or regulated industries is preferred.
• JLPT N2 or equivalent in Japanese (written and spoken).
• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken).
• Professional written and spoken English.
• Diploma or degree in any discipline.
• Must be registered as MOM EA personnel and CEI certification (if required).
• Strong judgement, candour, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Take search briefs and advise clients on market mapping, talent availability, compensation and hiring strategy.
• Identify, approach and assess senior candidates across markets, and present shortlists with recommendations.
• Manage the search through interviews, references, offer negotiation and integration.
• Build long-term relationships with clients and candidates, and develop new business in APAC, LATAM and EMEA.
• Keep accurate records in line with PDPA and MOM Employment Agency requirements.

The role

As a Senior Consultant, you'll run search mandates end to end for an international client portfolio, from the brief through market mapping, assessment and close. Your portfolio includes a significant number of Greater China-headquartered clients and cross-border searches, alongside our global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Take search briefs and advise clients on market mapping, talent availability, compensation and hiring strategy.
• Identify, approach and assess senior candidates across markets, and present shortlists with considered recommendations.
• Manage the search through interviews, references, offer negotiation and integration.
• Build long-term relationships with clients and candidates, and develop new business in your sectors.
• Keep accurate records in line with the PDPA and MOM Employment Agency requirements.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of executive search or agency recruitment experience, with a proven track record of closing mid-to-senior roles.
• Experience in fintech, financial services, technology or other regulated industries is preferred.
• Proficiency in written and spoken Japanese (JLPT N2 or equivalent). This is required to brief, advise and negotiate with our Japan-headquartered clients, and to assess Japanese-speaking candidates.
• Proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin Chinese. This is required to work with our Greater China-headquartered clients and Mandarin-speaking candidates in cross-border searches.
• Professional written and spoken English.
• Diploma or degree in any discipline.
• Must be registered as EA personnel with MOM before carrying out recruitment work, and pass the Certificate in Employment Intermediaries (CEI) if required. We'll support you through both.
• Sound judgement, candour with clients and candidates, and strong negotiation skills.
