Job summary

WOH HUP (PRIVATE) LIMITED is seeking a Senior M&E Coordinator to lead on-site coordination of mechanical and electrical works, ensuring timely execution and adherence to contract requirements across our Singapore project sites.

You will review and liaise on M&E designs with consultants, coordinate with architectural and structural teams, manage subcontractors and temporary utilities, monitor progress, quality, safety, and issuance of drawings to ensure smooth project delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
• 5+ years of coordinating M&E works on large-scale projects with main contractors.
• Experience with mixed development, condominium or data center projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand contract requirements and M&E specifications in order to monitor progress, quality of workmanship and compliance with project requirements/construction schedule.
• Liaise with design consultants on the design intent.
• Coordinate with in-house architectural & structural team to minimize discrepancies.
• Check and prepare material sample with shop drawing submission.
• Attend and facilitate M&E coordination meeting.
• Prepare M&E coordination drawings and liaise with Architectural Coordinators and Design Engineers for drawing issuance.
• Assess, prepare and submit progress claims for project consultants & subcontractors.
• Coordinate and assist site superintendent on installation and maintenance of site temporary utilities services.
• Adherence to safety practices in the work place.

The Senior M&E Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and execution of all M&E works at site in a timely manner.

Job Responsibilities

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline from a recognized University.
• At least with 5 years of relevant work experience in coordination of M&E works with different trades (e.g. C&S & Archi) and other stakeholders (e.g. consultant and subcontractors) for large scale building projects with an A1 main contractor.
• Candidates with either mixed development, condominium or data center projects would have an added advantage.
• Understand contract requirement and M&E specification.
• Understand BIM concept and be able to supervise and push for M&E works to be completed timely with relevant stakeholders.
• Able to manage and solve complex problems at site.
• Understand all the essential code of practices and relevant authority requirements for submissions of documents and inspections.
• Understand and participate in the implementation of Virtual Design Construction (VDC) concept.
