Job summary

SINGAPORE ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. requires a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with hands-on M&E coordination experience for Singapore projects. You will study drawings, coordinate with consultants and subs, and ensure works meet specifications on site.

Responsibilities include attending site meetings, supervising M&E progress, and conducting handovers with clients where applicable. A dynamic, proactive professional with at least 5 years on building projects is sought.

• Ensure M&E works adhere to specifications and drawings.
• Inform Project Director/PM of technical site problems related to M&E works.
• Supervise progress of M&E works on site and coordinate subcontractors.

Job description

Job Responsibilities :

• Study M&E drawings and coordinate M&E works with the consultants and sub-contractors to resolve any technical / site issues


• Attend site meeting with consultants


• Ensure M&E works are carried out according to specifications/drawings


• Inform Project Director / Project Manager on any technical site problems pertaining to M&E works


• Supervise the progress of M&E works on site


• Coordination of subcontractor's M&E works and ensure the work is on schedule


• Prepare shop & as built drawings


• Obtain client's requirement and site surveys


• Carry out testing and commissioning of M&E works


• Conduct handover inspection with client

Job Requirements :

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering as recognized by PE board


• Minimum 5 years working experience on building projects in Main Contractor Construction Firm


• Dynamic, self-motivated, proactive, independent, team player and results-oriented with a proven track record in the building industry
