Job summary

NIPPON BUILDERS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced M&E Project Coordinator to oversee mechanical and electrical works on site in Singapore.

You will liaise with subcontractors, prepare schedules, and ensure drawings (AutoCAD/Revit) are accurate while coordinating with other trades to avoid delays. Strong communication and independent work ethic are essential for timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction with project coordination and supervision.
• AutoCAD & Revit Certificate to produce and review drawings.
• Strong communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure M&E works comply with contract specifications, drawings, and regulatory requirements to maintain quality and safety standards
• Source, liaise, and coordinate with M&E subcontractors to align work scopes and schedules for seamless execution
• Prepare and submit documentation to government authorities to secure necessary approvals and permits
• Communicate progress and resolve issues with clients and consultants to maintain transparency and project alignment
• Assist in developing detailed M&E programs and submission schedules to support project planning and timely delivery
• Develop Coordinated Services drawings to integrate M&E systems effectively within project designs
• Coordinate with other trades to facilitate smooth workflow and prevent project delays
• Supervise on-site work progress to ensure adherence to plans and resolve any deviations promptly

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry demonstrating effective project coordination and supervision
• AutoCAD & Revit Certificate to produce and review technical drawings accurately

• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders and resolve project challenges

• Ability to work independently to manage tasks and meet project deadlines with minimal supervision
