Job summary

GMP Technologies is seeking an L3 Application Support Lead for the banking sector in Singapore. You will own L3 incidents, coordinate offshore rosters, engage vendors, and drive root-cause analyses during high-severity issues.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in banking application support, ITIL/PMP/PRINCE2 certifications, and hands-on Java/SQL experience, with Kubernetes/OpenShift knowledge. Strong deployment coordination is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of application support experience in banking or financial institutions, with strong incident management and production support processes.
• Certified in PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL, with offshore team coordination experience.
• Hands-on Java development and SQL experience; cloud-native deployments with Java considered a plus.
• Proactive incident management and production support best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift, plus enterprise infrastructure knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the single point of ownership for L3 support issues, ensuring logging and tracking of vendor tickets.
• Manages offshore support rosters and shift assignments; coordinates with vendors for escalations and product issues.
• Leads root cause analysis sessions and ensures closure of preventive actions during high-severity incidents.
• Coordinates with system owners on impacts and delivery timelines for production deployments across teams.
• Conducts code reviews for hotfixes and changes, validating release procedures and test evidence.
• Prepares change requests, risk assessments, rollback plans, and represents changes in Change Advisory Board meetings.
