Job summary

Infosys Singapore & Australia is seeking a Java L3 Support Engineer in the Banking domain to join our Singapore team. You will provide Level 3 support for Java-based banking applications and troubleshoot complex production issues to minimize downtime.

The role requires strong Java, Spring Boot and Microservices skills, Autosys experience, and familiarity with Hadoop/Spark/Hive and SQL/Oracle databases. ITIL processes and cross-team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong Java, Spring Boot and microservices expertise.
• Hands-on experience with Autosys and batch processing.
• Knowledge of Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Hive).
• Expertise in SQL, Oracle, or other relational databases.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
• Strong debugging, log analysis, and performance tuning skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 (L3) support for Java-based banking applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues with minimal downtime.
• Monitor and manage batch jobs using Autosys and other scheduling tools.
• Work with Big Data frameworks (Hadoop, Spark, Hive) for data processing and analysis.
• Perform RCA and implement permanent fixes.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure and DevOps teams for improvements.
• Support incident management, change requests and performance optimization.
