Job summary

DBS Asia Hub in Singapore seeks an experienced Senior Production Support / Site Reliability Engineer to ensure continuous, reliable banking services across Payments, Cash Management, Trade Finance and Fiduciary platforms.

You will own incident management, RCA, automation and observability, partnering with global teams to maintain high availability, security compliance, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in Production Support, SRE, or Platform Operations.
• Experience with mission-critical banking applications is preferred.
• Strong Unix/Linux, SQL (Oracle/MariaDB), shell scripting, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on with middleware/messaging like MQ or WebSphere.
• Experience with observability/monitoring tools (Geneos, Splunk, Grafana, etc.).
• Knowledge of Incident, Problem, Change Management and Production Governance.
• Automation and DevOps tooling experience (Python, Ansible, Jenkins, CI/CD).
• Exposure to OpenShift/Kubernetes is a plus.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with regional/global teams.
• On-call support willingness for critical banking services.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality L2 production support for mission-critical platforms.
• Lead management and resolution of production incidents with SLAs.
• Drive RCA and problem management with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor system health, performance, capacity, and availability.
• Lead major incident management and cross-team communications.
• Coordinate disaster recovery exercises and business continuity.
• Advance operations via automation and SRE practices.
• Own service stability metrics and ITIL governance.
• Mentor junior engineers and improve support processes.
