Job summary

DBS Bank Ltd is seeking an L2 Production Support Engineer for our Wealth applications, ensuring high availability, stability, and rapid incident response in production environments.

You will monitor system health, lead incident management with RCA, automate repetitive tasks, and coordinate safe deployments with development and infrastructure teams. Documentation and DR/BCP activities are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Proven experience in L2 production support for Wealth/Banca/Trading applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux/Windows and SQL/Oracle/NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in scripting for automation and monitoring.
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 production support for Wealth applications with high availability.
• Monitor system health, performance, and capacity using monitoring tools.
• Lead incident management, perform RCA, and implement permanent fixes.
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting and automation frameworks.
• Coordinate deployments and patching with development and infra teams.
• Maintain technical runbooks and standard operating procedures.
• Participate in DR drills and business continuity planning.
