Job summary

DHL Group in Singapore seeks an experienced Account Manager to oversee a defined portfolio of CSI/MNC and strategic customers, coordinating with internal teams to support implementation and ongoing service delivery.

The role focuses on building long-term relationships, growing the business through RFQ-based solutions, and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline that meets contractual expectations and SLA standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in Account Management of Freight Forwarding or related international transportation services.
• Sector experience in Life Science/ Tech is a plus.
• Proven track record in developing and growing business with RFQ customised solutions selling.
• Good understanding of sector trends in the freight forwarding industry.
• Identify customer needs by gathering information and building long-term relationships.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Diploma/degree with 5+ years in a MNC environment.

Responsibilities

• Manages relationship with CSI/MNC and SC customers; acts as primary contact and coordinates with the account.
• Prospects strategic targets to win new customers.
• Ensures that key account activities align with global/regional sector strategy.
• Focuses on customer relationship building through external and internal meetings to support business development.
• Achieves sales targets by maintaining a healthy pipeline and proactive thinking.
• Maintains accurate sales activity records through regular reporting and analysis.
• Collects customer information for RFIs/RFPs/RFQs and prepares documents for implementation and handover.
