Job summary

Infosys Singapore is seeking an experienced Level 3 production support specialist for high-volume Java applications within the regulatory reporting technology landscape. You will monitor operations, resolve issues, coordinate releases, and manage incidents to maintain stability and resilience across APAC, EMEA, and AMER.

The role requires 8+ years in Java/SQL, strong incident/change/release management, and excellent English communication with global stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or a related field.
8+ years of Java/SQL experience.
Hands-on support for enterprise Java applications in a Level 3 production support environment.
Experience with incident, problem, change, and release management processes in a controlled production environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to work with technical teams, business users, and global stakeholders.
Experience supporting applications in Regulatory reporting or Financial market activities.
Knowledge of Kafka or TIBCO EMS messaging and data platforms (SAP IQ, Sybase ASE, IBM Db2, Snowflake).
Experience with IntelliJ IDEA, Maven, JIRA, AutoSys, and Procmon.
Scripting or automation experience for operational monitoring, support workflows, or recurring production tasks.
Experience coordinating releases and production support across APAC, EMEA, and AMER regions.

Responsibilities

Provide Level 3 production support for high-volume, business-critical Java applications.
Monitor BAU, respond to alerts, and proactively identify issues affecting stability, data quality, or regulatory processing.
Handle user support queries and manage client interactions and regulatory escalations.
Investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent solutions with other teams.
Coordinate production releases, upgrades, infrastructure changes, and hotfix deployments across regions.
Participate in incident, problem, change management with risk assessment and post-implementation validation.
Support business continuity planning and disaster-recovery exercises.
Troubleshoot issues across application, OS, messaging, DB, scheduling and data layers to reduce downtime.
Fix defects and deliver controlled code changes per governance standards.
Automate repetitive tasks and monitoring to improve efficiency and responsiveness.
Contribute to enhancements by analyzing requirements and assessing change and incident risks.
Maintain runbooks and incident records to strengthen service continuity.
