Job summary

RECRUIT NOW SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Senior IT Engineer to support daily IT operations, troubleshoot issues and maintain IT infrastructure at our Commonwealth Drive office.

The role requires strong L2 IT Support experience, problem-solving mindset and ownership of IT operations, including AD, network services, and security basics. You will work closely with users and coordinate with external vendors as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• Experience in IT Support, Helpdesk or IT Infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Windows, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LAN & Wi-Fi, hardware and printer troubleshooting, Microsoft 365, and basic IT security.
• Sophos Firewall experience.
• Relevant IT certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 technical support for hardware, software, network and IT issues.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers and other IT equipment.
• Manage Active Directory user accounts, passwords and permissions.
• Coordinate with external IT vendors for procurement and support.
• Maintain IT documentation and system records.

Senior IT Engineer (L2 IT Support)

Salary: Basic up to S$6,000 + Bonus

Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm

Location: Commonwealth Drive

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Senior IT Engineer to support daily IT operations, troubleshoot technical issues and maintain the company's IT infrastructure.

This role is ideal for someone with strong L2 IT Support experience who enjoys troubleshooting, working with users and taking ownership of IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2 technical support for hardware, software, network and IT-related issues.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers and other IT equipment.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS and switches.
• Administer and troubleshoot Sophos Firewall .
• Manage Microsoft Active Directory , including user accounts, passwords, permissions and basic Group Policy.
• Install, configure and maintain office and network printers.
• Deploy and maintain PCs, laptops and other IT equipment.
• Manage IT hardware/software inventory.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding.
• Coordinate with external IT vendors for procurement, repairs, warranty and support.
• Maintain IT documentation and system records.
• Escalate complex issues when required and ensure timely resolution.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• Experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, Desktop Support or IT Infrastructure .
• Good knowledge of:Microsoft WindowsActive DirectoryTCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LAN & Wi-FiHardware and printer troubleshootingMicrosoft 365Basic IT security
