Job summary

Marsh Risk in Singapore seeks a seasoned account manager to join our Corporate & Commercial team. You will manage key client relationships, develop business plans, and collaborate with Marsh McLennan to deliver solutions and services across industries.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with 5–8 years in insurance, strong communication, negotiation and leadership skills, and a proactive approach to client service. Hybrid work with at least three days in the office weekly is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5 to 8 years of experience within insurance industry.
• Relevant experience in Property and Casualty insurance in Singapore market preferred.
• Excellent people management, time management, verbal and written communication skills.
• Attained minimum Certificate in General Insurance (CGI). ANZIIF or ACII will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Helps prepare, manage, implement and achieve business plans and goals.
• Strengthens effective long-term relationships with key client decision makers and monitors changes within client organizations to preserve the relationship.
• Proactively manages all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients.
• Identifies and captures revenue opportunities by developing business from existing portfolio and other sources.
• Works on account retention and defense strategies to ensure business retention.
• Keeps awareness of large or complex claim matters and assists claims personnel in negotiating settlements.
• Develops and strengthens relationships with insurers through regular contact to better serve clients.
• Maintains understanding of major insurance classes offered and stays updated on product developments.
