Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer to drive Packaging Product yield and NPI through technical expertise and cross-functional collaboration. You will connect global teams, standardize processes, and use AI-enabled tools to boost productivity and decision quality.

The role emphasizes data analytics, AI-driven problem solving, and continuous improvement in yield, quality, and business processes. Travel to fab locations is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, Chemistry or Materials Science.
• 5 years of semiconductor device physics, DRAM operations, wafer fabrication, test and yield experience.
• 3 years in DRAM HPM, BEOL integration, advanced packaging and layout.
• Strong data analysis, troubleshooting and presentation skills in a semiconductor context.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AI tools, and digital collaboration platforms.
• Willingness to travel 20-50% as required.
• Experience with AI and data analytics to improve engineering decisions.

Responsibilities

• Drive packaging product yield, quality, and NPI with global teams.
• Lead process optimization and governance across Front End and packaging interfaces.
• Head the PI Loop taskforce to address yield and quality challenges.
• Maintain domain knowledge and pursue innovation opportunities.
• Manage cross-functional relationships and resolve issues promptly.
• Present project updates and new initiatives to groups of varying sizes.
• Periodically align with management to remove obstacles and achieve goals.
• Travel to Micron Fab locations as needed for face-to-face work.
• Apply AI and digital tools to accelerate problem solving and productivity.
