Job summary

Antares Management Services in Singapore is seeking a Sales Executive to develop new business and manage existing client relationships in freight forwarding and logistics sectors, including sea/air freight, land transport, and customs clearance.

You will build proposals, negotiate rates, and coordinate with operations to meet monthly and quarterly targets, while delivering excellent service and identifying upsell opportunities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Fresh graduates with interest in sales and logistics may be considered.
• Experience in freight forwarding/logistics is an advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills expected.
• Ability to work independently, meet sales targets and manage multiple accounts.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Incoterms and shipping docs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, client visits, and other activities.
• Promote freight forwarding and logistics services to potential customers.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and service presentations for customers.
• Negotiate freight rates, pricing and terms while maintaining profitability.
• Follow up on leads, quotations and inquiries to convert opportunities into business.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled.
• Prepare and manage sales records, databases, quotations and reports.
