Job summary

The Senior Executive/Assistant Manager, Finance at Nanyang Technological University Singapore supports the Finance Manager to ensure efficient financial services for staff, academics, and students. You will handle travel reimbursements, payments, and AP processes, contributing to accurate financial operations.

You will assist in monthly/quarterly/year-end closing, budgeting, forecasting, and fixed asset management, including asset sighting and disposal.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accounting/finance or business.
• At least 3 years of accounting/finance experience with Diploma.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Good time management and ability to multi-task within deadlines.
• Independent worker who can also contribute to a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Familiarity with SAP, Workday and related tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Verify and provide guidance on travel-related applications and reimbursement claims.
• Handle payment requests/claims and AP invoices.
• Assist in monthly/quarterly/year-end financial reporting, budget/forecasting and closing.
• Update and maintain Fixed Asset records timely.
• Assist in annual physical Fixed Asset sighting and disposal processes.
• Carry out other ad hoc requests/projects.
