Job summary

National University of Singapore (NUS) invites applications for a Senior Executive (Finance Operations) in the Office of Finance. The role supports the financial operations of NUS Enterprise and overseas subsidiaries, ensuring accurate reporting, timely processing, and strong internal controls.

You will handle end-to-end accounting cycles, budgeting support, audit assistance, and grant compliance while collaborating with stakeholders across the university.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accountancy, finance, or related discipline.
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent is advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years of finance or accounting experience and strong knowledge of accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Support the financial operations of NUS Enterprise and its overseas subsidiaries.
• Prepare financial records, reports, and reconciliations accurately and on time.
• Handle AP/AR, journal entries, and month-end/year-end closing for NUS Enterprise and its overseas subsidiaries, where applicable.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, audit, tax and grant-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with university policies, grant requirements, accounting standards, and internal controls.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as required.
• Assist in finance process improvements and perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
