Job summary

Lam Research Singapore is seeking a Field Process Engineer to be a customer-focused expert on our etch and deposition equipment, delivering on-site support, installations, training, and DOE-driven process improvements.

You will work with account teams and customers to understand their technology roadmaps, perform DOE evaluations, and develop new processes for customer applications while ensuring safety and high reliability of Lam equipment on site.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc/BS with relevant experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to engage customers on technical solutions.
• Experience working in Fab environments and standby duties.
• Willing to support short-term overseas assignments.
• Foundational knowledge of SPC/DOE is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer roadmaps, processes, and business issues to identify value-add.
• Coordinate with Global Product Group for product demonstrations.
• Startup capacity-add Lam systems and match results to existing setups.
• Design and complete DOE evaluations for new installations or upgrades.
• Conduct experiments, collect data, and generate reports for distribution.
• Develop new processes for customer applications.
• Represent the company professionally and maintain customer relations during start-up.
• Maintain equipment and ensure site safety.
