Job summary

Lam Research Singapore is seeking a Field Process Engineer 3 to support customer installations, training, and design improvements. You will be on-site at customer sites, familiar with wafer fabrication processes, and collaborate with product groups to address integration challenges.

The role involves performing DOE evaluations, process assessments, and documenting outputs; readiness for overseas assignments; strong analytical and communication skills; and adherence to safety and PPE standards.

Qualifications

• PhD in Electronics, Chemistry, Physics, Material Science, or related field, or MSc with 3+ years, or BSc with 5+ years.
• Systematic and analytical mindset is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to actively engage customers on technical solutions.
• Willing to work in Fab environment and perform standby duties.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Account team and customers to understand tech roadmaps and requirements.
• Execute penetration and defense strategies, coordinating with Global Product Group.
• Startup capacity additions, matching results to existing systems and apps.
• Design and complete DOE evaluations to characterize process windows.
• Conduct experiments, collect data, and generate reports for internal/external use.
• Develop new processes for customer applications and tech needs.
• Represent the company professionally to customers and advise on product lines.
• Build strong customer relations during start-up and troubleshooting.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safe working conditions on-site.
